About Written Word Outreach Ministries
Written Word Outreach Ministries (Written Word Ministries) was founded by Pastors John Jake and Gina Yeboah in 1995 by the instruction and direction of the Holy Spirit of God. It was born as a result of a continuous search for God’s will for our Lives at the time.
Prior to that we knew God’s call upon our lives through personal conviction and confirmation through several prophecies. In 1991, serving as an usher in the church assembly we attended, the Lord through a guest speaker gave me a prophetic utterance that changed the course of my Christian walk for good. The next morning I knew exactly what to do. I enrolled in a Bible college by the encouragement and the direction of the Leader of the assembly who knew the calling in my life. I went for leadership training and urban church planting. A year later my wife Georgina who was heavily pregnant with our third child, joined in our pursuit of knowledge in our calling.
Meanwhile we were still serving our previous church in London, England until we were called out of that assembly to plant a church in Hove, Brighton where we had previously lived.
There is a strong Apostolic anointing upon our lives to start, stir and also to revive what is dead back to life. The assembly, Written Word is called by God to win souls from all walks of life for the kingdom of God and to make disciples by way of teaching and practical living by God’s word.
In the year 2000, the Lord Jesus gave us a word to cast our net over the household that He might bring the families to Himself. The name of the assembly has since changed from, "Outreach ministries" to "family outreach" and we have seen families coming in groups and people from immediate relations to the Lord.
Written Word also has a powerful prophetic, signs, wonders, miracles and deliverance ministries headed by Prophetess Gina Yeboah. We believe in the confirmation of God’s word after it is preached and God has been doing marvellous things among us. It is a Bible-based church where members' lives are governed by the Word of God.
Our emphasis is on the Lordship of Jesus, the Christ and the sovereignty of God, the Father;
- The absolute integrity and the dependability of scriptures.
- The dynamic work and power of the Holy Spirit of God.
- The exuberant praise and worship that ushers in His presence.
